Town Centers: Biloxi

Here is my first shot at giving some additional town center definition to Biloxi’s current layout.  I’ve centered a circle on the existing Biloxi Town Green showing the area within 1/4 mile of this feature.  This generally corresponds with the 5-minute pedestrian walking radius and suggested neighborhood size.

In this case, this is the Central Business District rather than a typical neighborhood.  It appears that within East Biloxi (between Keesler Air Force Base to the west and Point Cadet to the east), there are about 17 or 18 of these 1/4-mile-radius neighborhood circles.
